Jean-Paul Biberian reviews almost 20 years of his own cold fusion experiments, alone and with collaborators, covering solid-state electrolytes, electrolysis and gas diffusion. The work began in 1993 with Francis Forrat's solid-state technique: red LaAlO3 single crystals with lanthanum vacancies turn white when loaded with hydrogen or deuterium, showing the vacancies fill. Across the techniques he reports excess heat: the solid-state electrolyte runs gave a large coefficient of performance but little heat, while deuterium diffusion gave more excess heat at a lower coefficient. He notes that the many other techniques he tried without excess heat are outside this account.
