The Motionless Electromagnetic Generator: Extracting Energy from a Permanent Magnet with Energy-Replenishing from the Active Vacuum

In one minute
The patent tells you what the device is; this paper is the five inventors explaining what they think it is doing, and it is the only place the hardware and the dipole argument are joined in one document. The device is a permanent magnet inside a closed core of nanocrystalline alloy with small coils that steer its flux, and the paper's account of it turns on a distinction: the magnetic field held inside the core, and the vector potential left in the space outside it, are two forms of the same energy, and a coil wound on the core sits in both at once. Draw energy off in one form and the other refills the space it left — the paper's own image is dipping buckets from a running river. The inventors call the repeated swap between the two forms ping-pong, and argue that the useful quantity is the work done on the electron gas in the coil each time the form changes, not the energy put in once at the start.
Connection
Chapter 6 holds two Bearden sheets that never meet: a patent full of coils and measurements, and a paper full of dipoles and potentials. This is the document that joins them, which makes it the one to cite when the chapter needs to say what a flux-switching device is supposed to be doing rather than what it is made of. It also states the design rule in the form an engineer can act on — keep the source dipole out of the discharge loop — and names the measurement that would settle the accounting.
From the source
The distinction the whole account rests on is standard vector calculus read for its engineering consequence. The magnetic field is the curl of the vector potential, so a potential with no curl produces no magnetic field of its own — and the paper is careful that the relation defines the field in terms of the potential rather than the other way round. A helical coil, it notes, necessarily carries both a circulating component from each turn and a longitudinal component from the advance between turns, so the two are present together in any real winding.A-Potential and Field-Free A-Potential, and Indefiniteness Is Associated with the A-Potential
The function the nanocrystalline core performs is containment, and the paper reports it as something measurable at the bench. Used as a closed flux path across both poles of the permanent magnet, the material holds the curled part of the potential — the magnetic field — inside the path, so a field detector an inch or two away reads nothing, while coils placed in that same outside space still respond. That difference between what the field detector reads and what the coil responds to is the paper's evidence that two distinguishable things are present, and it is the cheapest check a replicator could run.Use of a Nanocrystalline Energy-Converting Material
The mechanism proposed for gain is iteration between the two forms rather than a larger input. The paper calls it ping-pong: energy moved from field form to potential form and back does work on the electron gas in the coil at each change of form, and the argument is that the potential outside refills at light speed from the magnet's dipole, so the cycle can be repeated. A coil wound on the flux path is described as interacting with the field inside its core and with the curl-free potential outside it simultaneously, with the mutual interaction between those two adding a third term; the Aharonov and Bohm effect is named as the acknowledged small-scale precedent for the potential acting where the field does not.Three Important Principles and Mechanisms, points 1 and 2, and Dual Interactions with Ping-Ponging Between Them
The replenishment step is where the paper hands off to the dipole argument, and it says so explicitly. Energy withdrawn from the potential around the magnet is held localised as field energy in the core; the potential outside is then taken to be refilled from the magnet's own dipole, and the dipole in turn from the vacuum by the giant negentropy process the same author set out separately, via the Whittaker decomposition of the potential into paired counter-propagating waves. The paper also notes a feedback the device is supposed to exploit: flux collected in the core passes back through the magnet, altering its effective pole strength and so the magnitude of the flow.Applying the Giant Negentropy Mechanism, and Replenishment Via Giant Negentropy
The thermodynamic framing is stated as a category question, and the paper keeps it separate from any measurement. Its position is that a system exchanging energy with an active environment is an open system far from equilibrium of the kind Prigogine described, that such systems are permitted to self-order and to dissipate more in their loads than the operator supplies, and that Cole and Puthoff had already shown thermodynamics carries no prohibition on drawing electromagnetic energy from the vacuum. Against that it sets the failure mode of ordinary practice: a closed current loop spends part of its collected energy pushing charge back against the source dipole, taking the dipole apart, so the design requirement is that the load must not sit in the loop that contains it.The Process Is Theoretically Supported, and the numbered ramifications on open dissipative systems
The bench state is reported as proof-of-principle, with the next build-up still ahead. The paper describes laboratory test build-ups made to compare core materials and observe behaviour, gives the measured output power and the ratio of output to input as functions of input potentialization from a single output coil operated open-loop with a curve fitted to the points, and notes the second coil behaved the same at the same time. The figures for the next prototype are given as projections and labelled as such. The settling measurement the paper itself asks for is the one printed on its own first page — independent replication and test — and the accounting a replicator would have to close is the ledger over every input line.Figures 16 to 23, the laboratory test prototype and the open-loop measurements, and the posting note
