Andrew Beckwith and Glen Robertson describe how entropy from relic gravitons of the Big Bang could be measured with the proposed Li-Baker high-frequency gravitational wave detector. They build on Ng's argument that entropy density is proportional to the number of particles per unit volume, applied to gravitons. Their formalism aims to help such a detector reconstruct conditions at the onset of the Big Bang and early-universe phase transitions. They suggest comparing its data with IceCube relic neutrino data from the South Pole. Together these could give criteria to test and falsify different models of cosmic inflation.
